This calculator is used to determine the temperature of a PCB trace located on the first layer of a PCB. The calculation method uses a closed-form analytical solution for a multilayer structure based on Fourier series techniques to determine the conduction in the PCB. Convection and radation from the surfaces of the PCB are determine using emperical and analytical correlations.
